National Child Day - Free Family Skate Saturday, November 21st, 2009 Thorold Community Arena 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.

On November 21, 2009 families across Canada will celebrate National Child Day. National Child Day commemorates the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by 191 countries in 1989. It is a day to celebrate children and to remember that they need love and respect to reach their full potential. This year, families in Thorold are invited to visit the Thorold Community Arena on Saturday, November 21st for a free hour of skating in recognition of this important day.
