TTY - Bell Relay Service

The Bell Relay Service allows deaf, deafened, people with hearing loss and people with speech disabilities to communicate by phone.  Trained operators act as intermediaries to facilitate the call.

Calls placed through the Bell Relay service are entirely confidential.  No record of conversation content is retained.

To Use:

1.  Dial 1-800-855-0511
2.  Provide the operator with your name, area code and telephone number
3.  Provide the City of Thorold's area code and telephone number (905-227-6613)
4.  The operator will place the call and tell you to go ahead when City staff answer

The operator will have to relay the information, so please speak slowly.
